The Royal Parade of Istana Mataram

Hundreds of troops from 35 Kingdoms of Indonesia joined the parade and marched to Wisma Boga to support the rebirth of the Istana Mataram. The royal parade made a historical march last 13th of April 2018. It was one of the longest horse-drawn carriage parade in the history of Indonesia.

The parade was also joined by the new members of the royal family from different parts of the world. There were 42 horse-drawn carriages beautifully decorated on the parade.

The parade was part of the New Era of Economic Culture and Tourism Programmes initiated by the Nusantara Kingdoms. The event marks a new beginning for the Kingdom of Mataram in terms of Tourism and Economic Development.

The parade was organized with the approval of the government of Surakarta. Policemen were also there to support the royal parade. 

The citizens of Solo also lined up in the streets to witness this remarkable event. People who saw the royal parade captured the moments and happily waved to the royalties.

The royal parade route starts from the Royal Surakarta Heritage Hotel, Gladag to North Square, Grand Mosque, Klewer, Simpang Gemblegan, and ends at Wisma Boga, Solo Baru.
