2000 People Joined the Evening Gala of Istana Mataram

The highlight of the rebirth of Istana Mataram is the evening gala held at Wisma Boga. This big event was graced by the Kings and Sultans from the 35 Kingdoms of Indonesia. This is one of the biggest events in the history of Solo attended by 2000 people from all over the world.

This is one of the rare occasions when the Kings of the different Kingdoms unite together to support the vision of the Istana Mataram.

The Royal Salute given to the Royal Family of Istana Mataram

The event started with the royal parade of the new members of Istana Mataram. They rode the horse-drawn carriages from Royal Surakarta Heritage Hotel to Wisma Boga. Upon the arrival of the parade at the venue, a royal salute was given to the royal family by the soldiers from the 35 Kingdoms.

The evening gala was commenced by Her Most Royal Highness H.M. Koes M. Pakubuwono and His Most Royal Highness H.M. Wirabhumi. The Kings and Sultans of the different Kingdoms were also introduced in the event.

An agreement of unity was signed between the Istana Mataram and Nusantara Kingdoms for the promotion and support of the Istana’s vision regarding the New Era of Economic Culture and Tourism Programmes.

The event also showcased the traditional Javanese culture from traditional gamelan music to dance performance of the Royal Javanese Dancers.

The evening celebration ended with a bang. Splendid fireworks were displayed in celebration with the New Beginning of Istana Mataram.
